FTX claims website opens STEP 7 tax registration procedure, easy to teach and quickly complete

The FTX claims website has now opened the STEP 7 tax registration process. The following is a simple teaching method:

Determine tax status

At the beginning, the system will ask a few questions to determine which type of creditor it belongs to and which tax status it meets (W-9 for US residents and W-8 for non US residents). In this step, if you are not a US resident or green card holder, please select NO.

As a general creditor, choose Individual.

Fill in personal tax data

Next, personal KYC data will need to be filled in:

Fill in name, date of birth, and country at the top row

Foreign Tax Identification Number (FTIN) - Fill in the ID number.

Permanent Residence Address - Fill in the residential address.

Skip the other parts that do not need to be filled in directly.

Confirm personal tax data

Generally, creditors only need to check the last one in the check box, and skip the others.

Check all boxes in this section and fill in the English name at the end.

Electronic Consent Form

Select 'I Consent'.
